Job Description: Prestigious Long Island based company is seeking a qualified Accounting Supervisor / Manager.
You will supervise Bookkeepers and Accountants, including transaction processing. Additional responsibilities include preparing monthly financial statements, including compilation reports with footnotes, assisting in budget and forecasting process, and participating in due diligence engagements.
Job Requirements: Qualified Candidates Will Possess:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
6+ years financial reporting analysis and accounting experience auditing experience preferred.
Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Quick Books, experience with Peachtree, Solomon or equivalent preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong Client Service orientation is a must
Supervisory Experience preferred.
Candidate must enjoy dealing with people, possess proficiency in MS Word and have the ability to multi-task.
