Job Description: Our client is seeking a qualified Treasury Operations professional to support their growing operations in Jersey City, NJ.
Requires proficiency to process all FX and Money Market deals in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Check and confirm all Foreign Exchange /and or and Money Market deal transactions that are entered by Traders into Front end system and ensure deals are transmitted in to Midas (operating system).
This involves reading and understanding all types of source documents such as Reuters, Bloomberg, and web conversations, EBS trades, and Reuters Matching.
Responsible to ensure if any corrections that are required are made to the deals before confirming.
Any changes that are needed to be done to customer file maintenance and standard settlement instructions are to be communicated to the person that handles maintenance.
Prepare required messages to be sent out if deals are already processed.
Responsible to perform all FX and Money Market investigations of same day and future value date deals.
Ensure that Risk Management rules and OFAC regulations are followed, and any exceptions should be brought to Department Manager’s attention.
On Money Market Deposit deals processing with accuracy is very essential and crucial to determine deals that are being rolled over, partial payments, or full repayment back to the customer and to generate manual payments if necessary.
These deals are mostly same day value and large amounts are involved.
Job Requirements: Qualifications:
Associate's degree (required) however lesser education is acceptable depending on level of experience and training.
2-4 years' related experience.
Verifying and confirming all deals involves a lot of interaction with traders, customers, and other departmental personnel. This requires extensive overall knowledge in FX and Money Market processing.
PC proficiency in MS Office applications, such as Excel and Word.
