Job Description: Our client, a Prestigious Firm, is seeking Senior Accountants with excellent financial and analytical skills to support their busy Long Island, NY office.
Responsibilities Include:
Prepare financial statement analyses and apply proper accounting treatment
Perform account reconciliations
Perform monthly close procedures and journal entries
Perform special project work for Senior Management as needed.
Oversee various Sarbanes-Oxley policies including account reconciliation and journal entry compliance procedures
Job Requirements: Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
CPA required
3 - 4 years' experience in public or private
SAP experience a plus
Proficiency with Excel and Word
